The purpose of the Facilities Committee is to review facility work across the district, provide guidance on strategic facility initiatives, and ensure community involvement in the district's facilities processes.
Families of students of all ages are invited to join us to learn more about the GEM Program at Barrington High School!
The GEM Showcase will be an open house event that will allow GEM students to highlight some of their learning experiences and independent research during the first half of the 2023-24 school year. Refreshments will be served.
The BHS GEM (Grow, Excel, Magnify) program, which is only open to seniors this school year, allows students to expand their learning through flexible, project-based learning options and field experiences during the school day. Schedules are customized to each student, allowing them to mix GEM experiences with traditional classes. The district plans to expand the program by offering it to juniors and seniors for the 2024-25 school year.

Being able to teach at Lines Elementary is truly a blessing. The students and staff are passionate about learning and the best part is we do it while having fun!Kevin KienzlePhysical Education Teacher
Lines school is like a second home to me. I never want to leave. Our teachers are kind and our principal is so funny. Teachers never give up on us if we are having a hard time learning something new. They always make extra time to make sure I know it.
When you walk into Lines, you can't help but feel welcomed and happy. The smiles every day, from both the students and the staff, show that this is a place we all love to be!Julie Stott5th Grade Teacher
